GE Brings Electric Vehicle Experience Tour to Canada
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA—September 12, 2011—GE Energy (NYSE: GE) Industrial Solutions and GE Capital Fleet Services, continuing to lead the future of EV electrification and drive mass adoption of electric vehicles, will bring GE's Electric Vehicle (EV) Experience Tour to Canada for the first time on Sept. 15.
The tour includes presentations by GE and industry leaders; educational workshops to support EV planning, deployment and integration strategies; and electric-vehicle test drives. Each tour segment provides a forum for GE experts to connect with local businesses, decision makers and public-sector stakeholders to discuss the business case for EV ecosystems. The tour concludes with an "EV Ride & Drive," featuring cars and trucks from a number of electric-vehicle manufacturers.

GE Energy Industrial Solutions is hosting the multi-city EV Experience Tour to help businesses and key stakeholders understand technical and business approaches for deploying pure electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. GE's electric vehicle chargers, including the easy-to-use, award-winning GE WattStation* EV Charging Station, will be featured at the GE EV Experience Tour.
This stop of the GE EV Experience Tour will showcase the installation of several EV charging stations in restaurants, hotels and power facilities in Vancouver. To date, GE Durastation* chargers have been installed at Edible Canada, the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and Powertech.
